Di Manakah Tempat Kita

A collaboration piece with art collective Delooloo, we analyse the positions of Malay and Islamic culture in Singapore through Waterloo Street. Known for being a Chinese dominated space celebrated as an example of racial and religious harmony, despite its distinct lack of Malay and Islamic presence.
 

Additionally, we wanted this work to serve as a space to discuss and create dialogue on the few remaining

“Malay spaces” in Singapore that is Kampong Glam.
